Which London airports does Airportbee cover?
We cover all five London airports — Heathrow (Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5), Gatwick (North and South Terminals), Luton, Stansted, and London City Airport. We also run inter-airport transfers between them.
Are Airportbee fares fixed or metered?
All Airport Bee fares are fixed at the time of booking. There is no meter running during the journey. Your fare does not change based on traffic, time of day, or demand — what you are quoted is what you pay.
Does Airportbee monitor flights for delays?
Yes. We monitor all flights in real time. If your flight is delayed, your driver is informed automatically. You do not need to call us to update your pick-up time.
What is a meet and greet airport transfer?
A meet and greet service means your driver meets you inside the arrivals terminal, not at the car park or kerbside. They hold a name board and assist with your luggage from the moment you exit arrivals. This is available at all London airports Airport Bee serves.
How is an executive airport transfer different from a standard one?
An executive transfer uses a premium vehicle with a higher level of presentation and service. It is designed for business travellers, VIP guests, or anyone who needs a more formal, discreet transfer. The fare is still fixed — you will see the difference clearly when you get a quote.
Can I book an airport transfer for a group?
Yes. We offer 6-seater and 8-seater vehicles for groups. An 8-seater takes up to 7 passengers with 6 full-size suitcases and 6 cabin bags. For larger groups requiring multiple vehicles, contact our office directly and we will co-ordinate everything.
Does Airportbee offer corporate or business accounts?

Are Airportbee drivers PCO-certified?
Yes. Every Airport Bee driver is PCO-certified and fully insured, as required by Transport for London. Beyond the legal requirement, drivers receive additional training and their performance is monitored regularly.
Do I need to tip the driver?
No. Tipping is not part of Airport Bee’s culture and drivers do not expect it. You pay the quoted fare and that is the end of the transaction.
What vehicles does Airportbee have?
Airport Bee operates saloon, estate, 6-seater MPV, 8-seater, and executive vehicles. Child seats, baby seats, and booster seats can be added at the time of booking.
Can I book a child seat for my airport transfer?
Yes. Baby seats (for children under 18 months), child seats (1.5 to 2.5 years), and booster seats (3 years and over) are all available to add when you book.
How far in advance can I book an airport transfer?
You can book up to 12 months in advance. Early booking is particularly useful for peak travel periods such as school holidays and bank holiday weekends.
What happens if my flight is cancelled?

What is the difference between Airportbee and a taxi?
Airport Bee is a pre-booked private hire service, not a taxi that can be hailed on the street. All bookings are confirmed in advance with a fixed fare. Unlike metered taxis, the fare you are quoted at the time of booking is the fare you pay — regardless of traffic or journey time.
Does Airportbee cover journeys from Heathrow Terminal 5?
