When travelling with us please use rear seats only and wear a mask at all times. In response to the Coronavirus pandemic, we are closely following NHS and Public Health England advice to help protect passengers, our driver partners and employees. You can read more below.
Under these exceptional circumstances, Cheetah Cars would like to reassure you that the safety of our employees, customers, and drivers remains of the greatest importance. With that in mind, we have implemented a comprehensive policy to prevent the spread of COVID-19 so we can maintain the safest standards of service for those who need us now more than ever. Our approach has been informed by UK government and PHE/NHS guidelines, and it will be updated as and when the situation develops.
As you know, Cheetah Cars minicabs have always adhered to strict standards of hygiene in our vehicles; however, during this pandemic, we will be taking additional steps to ensure the safety and comfort of both customers and drivers. It is now mandatory for vehicles to be thoroughly cleaned both inside and out on a weekly basis. Drivers have been trained in the importance of using detergents every day to disinfect the interior of their vehicle. They have been equipped with a safety kit of protective gloves, hand-sanitiser gels, spray bottles, cleaning cloths, and protective masks.
Nobody values their employees more than Cheetah Cars. That is why we have taken special measures to ensure their safety while they work. Employees who are able to work from home, will be doing so. Any driver who presents even the mildest symptoms of COVID-19 will be instructed to self isolate for 14 days. You will also notice that some vehicles have had protective screens installed for an extra level of security.
We know that this situation has made daily life more difficult, especially for the most vulnerable members of society. This is why we have developed a contactless delivery service, whereby items are delivered to your doorstep by one of our Cheetah Cars superstars. You won't even be asked for an electronic signature; instead a photo will be taken of your delivered items, meaning the service fully complies with social distancing guidelines.
We ask for our customers' cooperation in ensuring our mutual safety; it's crucial that we support one another. Please ensure your journey is essential before booking. Remember, drivers are not permitted to deliver items inside your home for health and safety reasons. Additionally, customers will not be invited to sit in the front seat at this time.
